Students and members of the Penn State community caught a fun and lively preview of Homecoming week last night at the first Homecoming Night Out!   Held at Cafe 210, members of competing organizations received spirit points for attending, and a portion of the cover proceeds went to Homecoming 2008.

“It’s crazy; everyone knows everyone tonight,” said senior Carlos Gonzalez about the friendly atmosphere. “There’s a lot of people here compared to other weeks.”

The packed bar, which included Homecoming overalls and captains, also enjoyed the music of The Original Cover Band, one of three featured bands performing at the next Homecoming Night Out on October 15.  If you weren’t able to come out last night, make sure not to miss Homecoming Night Out #2!  Stay tuned for more updates and have a great football weekend!
