Homecoming 2007 Committee Applications
Homecoming is looking for dedicated committee members to help organize the various events that contribute to Penn State’s annual tradition.

Applications must be submitted and returned to the mailbox of Jen Rosenberg, Homecoming Overall Chairperson, in 218 HUB no later than 5pm Monday, September 10th

Parade
The Parade Committee will be assisting the Parade Captains with float inspections and grounds setup prior to parade day and all parade day check-ins. During Parade Day they will be required to be at the grounds all day assisting in various duties dealing with the different groups and organizations involved.
Special Events/University Relations
SE/UR Committee members will be responsible for energetically and creatively contributing to many of Homecoming’s events including: Nittany Pursuit, the Pep Rally, East Halls Celebration and Pride Week, and will be the driving force in the recruitment of new organizations and students.
Merchandising
The merchandise committee will be be responsible for selling the official Homecoming merchandise on different weekends throughout the Homecoming season, as well as the week of Homecoming. These positions will require a couple hours a week and members will not need to attend meetings. Their other responsibilites will include signing up for merchandising shifts and keeping in touch with the Corporate Relations Merchandising Captains.
OPPerations
OPP is responsible for the logistics of all Homecoming events including setting up and tearing down all equipment including chairs, tables, audio-visual equipment, and other related items required for each event. OPP secures any required equipment for Homecoming and assists the Security and Parade Overalls in tasks related to the set-up of the parade route on parade day. OPP also coordinates the use and operation of the rental truck and vehicles during Homecoming week, maintains the off-site storage unit, and is responsible for coordinating pomp orders and pickups in coordination with the Fraternity Purchasing Association.
