Homecoming 2007 Court
Chris Lucas
Mr. Chris Lucas is a chemical engineering and mathematics double major from Leechburg, PA who plans to attend graduate school and receive his PhD to one day work in pharmaceuticals. Chris is extremely active in THON, including co-founding ATLAS and as past morale committee member. Among many other things, he is involved with research on campus and a major contributor to Martin Luther King Day of Service.
Megan Verbos
Ms. Megan Elizabeth Verbos is a senior nursing major from Hamilton, New Jersey. Her major activities at Penn State include the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Student Nursing Association of Pennsylvania, Club Cheerleading and is a THON Captain. Upon graduation, Megan plans on attending law school before eventually practicing medical malpractice law.
Grant Miller
Mr. Grant Miller is an English major with minors in Spanish and Chinese from Allison Park, PA. Grant is currently the president of IFC, a brother of Delta Kappa Epsilon, an entertainment captain for THON 2008, and a public relations captain for Homecoming 2007. Following graduation, Grant is considering going to Law School, or taking a year working for Teach for America.
Doreen Strauss
Ms. Doreen Strauss is a business psychology major from West Chester, PA who plans to attend graduate school and focus on student affairs after graduation. Doreen is a Penn State Lion Ambassador, an active member of UPUA and a LEAP mentor. Among many other activities, she is currently president of the Off Campus Student Union(OCSU) and has been on deans list throughout her entire career at PSU.
Todd Pontius
Mr. Todd Pontius is a general science major from Camp Hill, Pa. Todd is heavily involved with Lion Ambassadors, Penn State Homecoming, Service Learning Coordinators, and a team leader for various days of service. Upon graduation Todd plans to explore higher education and possibly become a professor.
Allie Gabriel
Ms. Allison Gabriel is a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology from East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Allie is the president of the Penn State Oriana Singers, the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator for the HIV/AIDS Risk Reduction Advisory Council, Survivorship Overall for the Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness Walk, and Penn State Lion Ambassador, among many other activities. After graduation Allie plans on attending a five year graduate program where she would like to obtain her Doctoral Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Matt Sterling
Mr. Matt Sterling is a General Science major from Cherry Hill, NJ, who plans to go to medical school after graduation. At Penn State, Mr. Sterling is involved in Lion Ambassadors, the co-founder of Atlas and a morale committee member for THON, and a dean's list honoree for six semesters.
Kim Carapucci
Ms. Kimberly Ann Carapucci is a senior double majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish from Punxsutawney, PA. At Penn State Kimberly's major activities include being a member of Alpha Phi, Kappa Tau Alpha Honor Society, and PSN-TV network. She is also an Education Abroad Program Ambassador as well as a Spanish Tutor. After graduation Kimberly plans on working as a TV Reporter somewhere is the southwestern part of the United States where she hopes to speak in Spanish and in her spare time be an interpreter or translator on the side.
Chris Talley
Mr. Christopher P. Talley is a hotel, restaurant, and institutional management major from Philadelphia, PA who hopes to hold a position as manager of a hotel upon graduation. Some of his many activities on campus include President of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, President of S.M.A.R.T. and V.P. of standards of N.P.H.C. just to name a few. Chris wants you to know, that of the 40,000 students here at Penn State, he wants to be number one in your heart!
Natalie Nowak
Ms. Natalie Nowak is a Life Sciences and Nutrition major from Buffalo, NY, who plans to go to medical school. At Penn State, Natalie is on the executive board of Lion Ambassadors, a Communications captain for THON, a Health Works team leader, and is also involved in research in the nutrition department.
