Alumni Relations Director
Hello all! My name is Lauren Moore and I am thrilled to be the Alumni Relation's Executive Director for Homecoming 2009! I am a junior from Westminster, Maryland and am majoring in Mathematics with a Statistics minor. As the Alumni Relations Director, I am responsible for coordinating events for the alumni to participate in during Homecoming Week, and ensuring they have a memorable and fun experience.
Throughout my years at Penn State, I have been involved with THON, first on Rules and Regs and then the past two years as a Moraler. Last year for Homecoming 2008, I was a Competition Captain. I'd have to say that coming to Penn State has been a life changing experience for me! I can't think of any more fitting way to spend the best four years of my life. The energy in Happy Valley is truly monumental, and I am so proud to be a part of the BEST University in the nation!
TBeing involved in Homecoming 2009 allows me to experience all aspects of what Penn State has to offer students, faculty, alumni and the community alike. The Executive Board and I hope to keep PSU's traditions memorable, and ensure that Homecoming 2009 will be the most successful yet. Thanks to everyone who has put in so much time and effort to make this year the best one possible. And thanks to my family for supporting me throughout all my experiences at Penn State and allowing me to come to this wonderful University.
During Homecoming, we will all come together to celebrate the joy and legacy of our school, and I hope that continues for years to come. For the memories that this University has given all of us we can truly say that "Thou didst mold us dear old State... ."
