King & Queen Director
Hey Penn State! My name is Angie Schlosser and I am the King and Queen Director for Homecoming 2009! I will be working this year to elect student and faculty courts, and ultimately your Homecoming 2009 King and Queen.
I am a junior from a small town outside Allentown, Pennsylvania. My major is advertising, with a minor in psychology. Though it's hard to believe I have a life outside of Homecoming, I do! I am a sister of the national service sorority Omega Phi Alpha and have been involved in THON on a morale committee for the past two years. Being a Fresh START Team Leader and an (ex) Bi Sci 3 teacher's assistant have also shaped who I am today.
My involvement with Penn State Homecoming is rather extensive. It all began with pomping our Aladdin themed float my freshman year - when we were named Overall Champions! The following year, I was elected Homecoming co-chair of my sorority. This past year, I was hard at work advertising events as a Public Relations Captain, and also took part in Airbands, Nittany Pursuit and pomping yet another float that helped us to win an Overall Champions title! Now, I am looking forward to the great experiences that will come along with my amazing new job as King and Queen Director, as well as being on the Executive Committee! For the Glory!
