Public Relations Director
Hey Nittany Lions! My name is Anna Sofio and I'm the Public Relations Director for Homecoming 2009! I am a junior from Downingtown, Pennsylvania majoring in public relations with a business minor. For the last two years I shared my Penn State pride by serving as a Public Relations Captain and I am honored to be serving on the Executive Committee for 2009!
My job on the Homecoming Executive Committee is to increase awareness of the Penn State Homecoming celebration throughout the Penn State community by promoting and publicizing Homecoming week. Homecoming week is one of the most exciting and anticipated weeks of the year because students, faculty, staff, and alumni come together to celebrate their pride and love for Penn State! Through my years of involvement in Homecoming my love for Penn State has grown into a passion and I have learned what it truly means to bleed Blue and White. My goal this year is to share my passion with the Penn State family and to spread the word WE ARE... PENN STATE!
