Believe it or not it is time to get Homecoming 2010 off the ground! Applications for the Homecoming 2010 Executive Committee are now available! Homecoming's mission is to "honor tradition and instill pride in all members of the Penn State community through active engagement of alumni, faculty, staff, and students across the commonwealth". Homecoming is a great way for you to bring the entire university community together for a week long celebration of our shared passion for Penn State! Please contact the 2010 Executive Director, Matt Peyton, with any questions at mrp5082@psu.edu. The application is due Tuesday, December 1st at 5pm in 209 HUB. For the Glory!

Pomp orders will be available for pickup this Thursday during your organization's scheduled pickup time between 10am - 4:30pm. We recommend the homecoming chair be at pomp pickup but any member may pick up the order. Please only come during your scheduled pickup time. Questions may be directed to opphomecoming@psu.edu.

- UPDATE: Registration for the Homecoming 5k has been extended to the day of. If you have already registered, please bring you registration free by Friday Oct 9th in order to recieve your runner bag. The
Join us for the 1st annual Homecoming 5K on Sunday October 11th! You may register online here. Sign-in and Entertainment Hour will begin at 11 AM, next to the IM building, followed by the walk/run at 12 noon. Registration for the 5K is $10. Enjoy food,watch live performances, earn Spirit Points, and meet top Penn State Athletes! Grand Marshal - Valerie Plame Wilson
- 1985 Penn State Grad and member of of the Pi Beta Phi sorority
- Wilson is the former CIA undercover agent famously "outed" in Robert Novak’s Washington Post column after Bush administration officials leaked her identity in response to an op-ed piece written by her husband, former ambassador Joseph Wilson. Her 2007 bestselling book, Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, is being made into a movie, Fair Game, starring Naomi Watts and Sean Penn.

The Homecoming Day of Service is a one day event where students have the ability to give back to State College in a variety of ways. Look out for Homecoming merchandise sales at the HUB on Tuesday, April 21st and 24th as well as at the Creamery on Friday, April 24th from 10-4pm. This is an exciting year with new and different logos as well as a wider variety of apparel. The sale will feature and premier Homecoming's new legacy logo to be used year after year and new merchandise such as hats, men's and women's shorts as well as t-shirts. Cash, check and lion cash will be accepted.
