Merchandise Rules and Information for Organizations


This year all organizations must submit your Homecoming apparel for approval, whether it be t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sweatpants to the Merchandise Committee. Once you recieve an approval you may order your clothing at the vendor of your choice. All submissions are due September 14th at 5pm to merchhomecoming@psu.edu or to 201 HUB. Failure to do so will result in the loss of 5 spirit points for the first day and 2 additional points for everyday that it is not sumbitted.

Now available to organizations is the chance to use one of the Official Homecoming Logos shown on the Merchandise main page. You may either use the Legacy Logo or the State 'S', not the 2009 Logo. To do this, contact merchhomecoming@psu.edu with your design and instructions on where you would like the logo. Once approved, we will send it to Collegiate Pride and give them the contact information of the person who submitted the design. Then you will work with Collegiate Pride to give them quantity, sizing and payment.

New this year is the First Annual Apparel Contest. When you submit your clothing for approval it will be submitted into the contest. The Competition Committee will judge and pick the top 5 and then you can vote on them in the HUB during Homecoming Week.

1st place: 25 points

2nd place: 15 points

3rd place: 10 points

You can also earn up to 100 additional spirit points!!

To earn 100 points, use one of the Official Homecoming Logos

To earn 75 points, order your apparel from Collegiate Pride (www.collegiateprideinc.com) and submit a copy of your receipt to Merchandise Director, Kelsey Cousley's mailbox in 201 HUB by Monday, October 12th at 5pm.
