From the Homecoming 2008 Overall Chair:
Hello Penn State students, alumni, faculty and fans! Welcome to the 2008 Homecoming website! My name is Jehan Arafa, and I am proud to be the Overall Chairperson for this year's Homecoming celebration. I have had the pleasure since January of working with an amazing group of students who are planning this year's festivities. The 15 passionate and dedicated members of the Overall Committee have been working hard to prepare exciting events for all members of the Penn State community to enjoy.
The theme for Homecoming 2008 is "Inspired by Tradition." Homecoming is about celebrating Penn State's past, present and future. This year is no different. The Homecoming Overall Committee has traditional events planned, such as the parade and the King & Queen Coronation. There are also newer events inspired by our past, such as the Student-Alumni Ice Cream Social. No matter the occasion, Penn State will celebrate!
