The Homecoming Parade unites students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members across the Penn State community in an annual celebration of Penn State pride. The Parade will start on Penn State’s University Park campus and continue through downtown State College.
Spectators are welcome to watch along sidewalks and grass areas designated by Security. They can share in the excitement of student, alumni, and community members walking, driving, or riding on floats in the Parade. The Homecoming Grand Marshal, Honorary Grand Marshal, as well as Student, Alumni, University, and Grad Courts will also share in the celebration of Penn State pride in the Parade.
The Parade will officially begin at 6:00 PM on Friday, October 4th 2019 and will start in front of the IM Building. Roads will begin to close at 5:30 PM. We hope you will join us to celebrate the Penn State tradition.
