Royalty Nomination Process

 

Student Court

  • April 12 - April 28: Open Nomination Period 1
  • Monday, August 27 - Friday, September 8: Open Nomination Period 2
  • Saturday, September 9 - Friday, September 15: Application Period
  • Applications are narrowed down by the Homecoming Advisors, Executive Committee and Royalty Director based on a set rubric
  • Wednesday, September 27: Applicant interviews are held at the Hintz Family Alumni Center
  • Faculty members are selected to perform the interviews and select 5 males and 5 females for the Student Court


                                  University Court

  • April 12 - April 28: Open Nomination Period
  • Monday, August 27 - Friday, September 8: Open Nomination Period 2
  • Any faculty member, including professors, are eligible for the University Court
  • Royalty committee members work with applicants to develop a presentation.
  • Eight select students will review the presentation and chose 3 males and 3 females to represent the Faculty Court

Alumni Court

    • All Penn State Alumni are eligible
    • Alumni Court members are invited to be honored at Court Reception, the parade, and all of Friday's events
    • Nominations will open on May 1st and close after 100 nominations are reached
    • Applications will be due on July 20th
    • Applications are narrowed down by the Homecoming Advisors, Royalty Director, and Royalty Captains based on a set rubric
    • The Alumni Court is the newest court. 3 males and 3 females will be selected by the Royalty Committee
