Every Committee has a team of Captains who execute the tasks that the Committee must accomplish as a whole. Each Captain has specific duties within the Committee. Applications are accepted every January.Descriptions
Committee members assist in Homecoming events and are vital to the success of Penn State’s Homecoming celebration. Emcees host all events and hype up Homecoming throughout the year. Committee member and Emcee applications are accepted every March.
First-Year Involvement Committee
The First Year Involvement Committee is a way for freshmen students to get involved in Homecoming from the start of their Penn State journey. This committee will work directly with the University Relations captains and help plan and work events throughout Homecoming week. This committee also gets to walk in the Homecoming Parade!
Student Court members are select representatives of Penn State’s Graduating class, who fully encompass the Core Values of our University in all that they endeavor to do. Court members have the opportunity to participate in all that Homecoming has to offer, while forming a lasting legacy for years to come. You MUST have been nominated to apply.
As a Penn State Alum, you have the opportunity to come back and celebrate the Penn State Glory as a member of the 2018 Alumni Court. If you feel as though Penn State has made a large impact on who you are and where you ended up in life, then we want to hear your story.
2019 Homecoming Executive Director
The Executive Director works to facilitate the establishment of a specific vision for Homecoming during the 2018-2019 term. They are responsible for running all Executive Committee meetings and collaborating with advisors to enhance the development of each Director.Apply Here

Student Court Nominations
In order to be nominated for Student Court, an eligible nominee must have at least eighth semester status. Only ONE nomination is needed for a nomination to be valid. Nominations open in both April and August.
University Court Nominations
In order to be nominated for University Court, an eligible nominee must be nominated by a student. The nominee can be any Penn State staff member. Only ONE nomination is needed for a nomination to be valid. Nominations open every August.
Office Competition Form
Penn State organizations with offices in the HUB are welcome to register for Office Competition! Sign up for a 15 minute time slot for the opportunity to compete in minute to win it games. The winning office will be treated to free pizza at their next meeting.
Overall Competitor Registration
To fully register for Homecoming 2018, Overall Competitors must complete this form to the best of their knowledge. One form must be completed per pair/triad. Registration opens in the Spring.
FTG Talent Show
The For the Glory Talent Show displays the vast array of talents possessed by our student body. The show is judged by invited esteemed faculty and students. Top 3 performances get the opportunity to perform their act at THON, and places 4th through 6th are invited to walk in the Homecoming Parade during Homecoming week. Tryouts for the show on October 9th will take place on September 13th. We welcome any and all performers to contact the Competition Director for more information.
Penn State student Organizations are welcome to register for the many events of Homecoming. These events include Walking, Float, Vehicle, Madhatter, and Banner in the Parade and the For the Glory Talent Show.

The Homecoming 2018 Tailgate Competition will be held prior to kickoff against Michigan State to promote Penn State pride and create a fun atmosphere. There is no registration fee and it is open to both current students and alumni. Registration opens every April until September.
Organizations who want to participate in Homecoming as an Overall Competitor must complete this form. Organizations may list their Pairing and theme preferences for the upcoming Homecoming season, as well as Homecoming Chair information. Organizations may choose to submit this form as many times as they want, but only the last submission will be taken under consideration.
Parade Supplies Order Form
Organizations who are planning to decorate their float for the Homecoming Parade can order decorating supplies through the Nittany Co-op by filling out this form. Although it is not mandatory to order supplies through us, we highly recommend it as all the tissue paper is pre-cut and supplies are offered at a discounted price.
Waived Flatbed Application
Penn State Student Organizations, who have never participated as a float participant, are encouraged to apply for a waived flatbed rental fee. Winners will be able to participate in the Homecoming 2018 Parade with a free flatbed rental.
