Katie Russell is a fourth-year student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development. Previously, she served as the Events Captain for Homecoming 2023. Katie loves Homecoming because it unites the Penn State community from near and far to continue the long-rooted traditions that make up Penn State. 

Lauren Smeraldo is a third-year student from Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in both Political Science and Public Relations. Previously, she served as the alumni court captain for Homecoming 2023. Lauren’s love for Homecoming comes from being a part of a large Penn State family. She is excited to honor and celebrate Penn State pride with all current and former students. 

Andrew Valentine is a third-year student from King of Prussia, PA. He is majoring in Supply Chain and Information Systems with a minor in Spanish. Previously, he served as a fiscal tracking captain for Homecoming 2023. Andrew loves Homecoming because it embodies Penn State and its longstanding traditions and pride.

Lily Henderson is a third-year student from Devon, Pennsylvania. She is majoring Sociology with a minor in Italian. Previously, she served as the Organization Liaison Captain for Homecoming 2023. Lily enjoys being a part of Penn State Homecoming because she loves seeing all the students, faculty, alumni, and visitors enjoy all the Homecoming events that remind us why Penn State is so great!

Krista Pustrom is a third-year student from Ocean Township, New Jersey! She is majoring in Business Management while also earning her Real Estate Analysis & Development Certificate. Previously, she served as the Procurement-Purchasing Captain for Homecoming 2023. Krista enjoys being a part of Homecoming because it unites different organizations and the Penn State community together to celebrate the tradition and love that people have for the university.   

Tim Sharkey is a fifth-year student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Environmental Resource Management with a minor in Agribusiness Management. Previously, he served as the Inventory Development Captain for Homecoming 2023. Tim loves Homecoming because of the friendships that are made throughout the year along with the wonderful memories. 

Olivia Markus is a third-year student from Pottsville, Pennsylvania. She is majoring in Finance. Previously, she served as the Logistics and Merge-point Captain for Homecoming 2023. Olivia is a part of Homecoming because it creates a sense of belonging for everyone connected to Penn State. 

Barbara Smith is a third-year student from Rochester, New York. She is majoring in Criminology and is pursuing her master’s degree in Criminal Justice Policy and Administration. Previously, she served as the Friends and Family Tent Captain for Homecoming 2023. She was also a member of the First-Year Involvement committee for Homecoming 2022. Barbara loves Homecoming because it brings wonderful events to Penn State that students do not get to experience throughout the year. 

Cady Barcak is a fourth-year student from Austin, Texas. She is majoring in both Political Science and Digital and Print Journalism and has plans to attend law school upon graduation. Previously, she served as the Media Relations Captain for Homecoming 2023. Cady is a part of Homecoming because she values honoring the traditions and community of Penn State’s past. 

Henry Sabine is a second-year student from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Aerospace Engineering with an interest in aircraft design. Previously, he served as the Allen Street Jam Captain for Homecoming 2023. He was also a member of the First-Year Involvement committee for Homecoming 2022. Henry loves and supports Homecoming because of his passion for this University and his determination to spread Penn State pride to all edges of this community. 

Ethan Lemin is a third-year student from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He is majoring in Cybersecurity Analytics and Operations with minors in Security and Risk Analysis and Information Sciences and Technology. Previously, he served as a Lead Web Developer for Homecoming 2023. Ethan loves Homecoming because he enjoys seeing the community come together and meeting new people while celebrating Penn State’s traditions. 

Liz Wesdock is a fourth-year student from Bel Air, Maryland. She is in an integrated Masters of Educational Theory and Policy, with a minor in Sociology. Previously, she served as the Competition Director for Homecoming 2023. She also was the Events Registration Captain for Homecoming 2022. Liz loves Homecoming because Penn State is a home, and this organization emphasizes that reality for all people and organizations.
